The City of Orleans has an adopted CODE OF ORDINANCES that the council utilizes to govern the City. Please contact the City Clerk if you have questions.
The City of Orleans also has a Zoning Ordinance in place that was last adopted in September of 2005. The City's Planning and Zoning Board has spent several months updating the current zoning regulations and it has been presented to the City Council for review. The new regulations will be uploaded here once they final version for approval has been accepted by the council.

The Orleans City Council has recently adopted the 2017 Orleans Zoning Ordinance. This updated zoning ordinance became effective February 1, 2017. All previous zoning regulations have been repealed and the 2017 zoning ordinance is now in effect.
